The School of Risk & Actuarial Studies at UNSW Sydney is pleased to host the 22nd International Congress on Insurance: Mathematics and Economics (IME 2018). The conference will be held on 15-18 July 2018 on UNSW’s modern Kensington campus, which is located conveniently close the city and beaches.

We're excited to bring this meeting to beautiful Australia for the first time. We invite academic researchers and industry practitioners from all over the world, in the area of insurance and actuarial science, to come to Sydney and participate in this congress.

Call for abstracts

We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for presentation at the 22nd International Congress on Insurance: Mathematics and Economics (IME 2018) which will be hosted by the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies at UNSW Sydney.

The abstract submission deadline is the 9th of April 2018 at 11:59pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).

Notifications of acceptance into the conference program will be communicated after the deadline of call for papers. More information.

If accepted into the conference program, all presenters must register and pay to attend the conference.

IME Journal

The Insurance: Mathematics and Economics congress is associated with the leading actuarial science journal, Insurance: Mathematics and Economics

The conference is one of the largest international meeting series in actuarial science. It brings together researchers and practitioners interested in the latest developments in actuarial science to collaborate and learn from each other.

The first congress was held in 1997 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since then, the congress has been held annually in different locations around the globe.
