Our Business School’s annual student entrepreneurship competition. Students can win up to more than $15,000 in cash prizes to launch their new business idea. Our industry contacts and alumni will mentor and guide you to ensure that your business idea has the best possibility of succeeding. If you have a business idea, UNSW Innovations also supports students in establishing their own businesses.
Our flagship event series where students listen to a CEO being interviewed about their career path, and how they got to where they are today. Past CEOs include Richard Branson (Virgin) and others from Coca-Cola, Reserve Bank of Australia, McDonalds, and Australian banks etc.

Our Auditing research ranks No.1 in the world and students are exposed to this cutting-edge research that provides information on how business is conducted throughout the world. The Global Business Practicum is a practical for-credit course, which provides a unique opportunity for students to gain workplace experience by studying and working overseas (usually in Asia). Our Global Business Practicum has recently been selected as a finalist (highly commended) in the inaugural Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards.
The Social Entrepreneurship Practicum allows students to use their business skills and knowledge to gain experience in planning and implementing a social impact project.
UNSW International Office offers options for 1 semester or 1 year of study at an overseas partner university. UNSW is partnered with over 200 universities in 39 countries. Choose to study anywhere in the world and gain credit points for your degree without adding extra time to your studies.
