The School of Accounting, UNSW Business School offers undergraduate students a range of courses from Bachelor to Honours level in the fields of Accounting. Students may choose to do an accounting major in the following degrees:
The Accounting major is designed for students who are interested in becoming qualified accountants or for students who are interested in understanding how to measure and analyse business performance. It complements studies in finance, information systems, taxation, marketing, management or other business disciplines.
CPA Australia, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA), ACCA (Accounting), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), formerly The National Institute of Accountants (NIA) recognise UNSW as an approved tertiary institution for the purpose of their membership qualifications.
The Accounting Co-op Scholarship is a four year scholarship degree offering up to eighteen months of industry training.
