AGORA

The AGORA Centre for Market design offers a novel and multidisciplinary approach to policymaking that combines insights from game theory, experimental economics, computer science, and operations research with domain-specific expertise.

The AGORA Centre hosts the world’s elite in market design whose goal is to advance our scientific knowledge and to provide practitioners with implementations that have been thoroughly tested in the laboratory.

ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research

Based at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) with nodes at the Australian National University (ANU) and The University of Sydney, ARC Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR) is producing world-class research on population ageing. CEPAR is a unique collaboration bringing together academia, government and industry to address one of the major social challenges of the twenty first century.

Our innovative research is providing global solutions to the economic and social challenges of population ageing and building a new generation of researchers to global standard with an appreciation of the multidisciplinary nature of population ageing.

Centre for Applied Economic Research

The Centre for Applied Economic Research's (CAER) primary emphasis is on applied economic research relevant to policy issues. For more than 30 years this research has been carried out by CASE and published in academic journals, books and the Centre's own publications.

The Centre also coordinates conferences and workshops and publishes the Economic and Labour Relations Review, an academic journal which is published in partnership with the Industrial Relations Research Centre.

Centre for Energy and Environmental Markets

The Centre for Energy and Environmental Markets (CEEM) at UNSW brings together researchers and partner organisations with the key objective of providing Australian research leadership in the interdisciplinary design, analysis and performance monitoring of energy and environmental markets, and their associated policy frameworks.

The Society of Heterodox Economists

The Society of Heterodox Economists (SHE) represents a collaboration of economists outside the mainstream. Annual conferences, workshops, a working paper series and a virtual forum are also coordinated by SHE.
