Research Centres

Korea Research Institute (KRI)

The Korea Research Institute at the University of New South Wales (KRI@UNSW) began its operation as the Korea-Australasia Research Centre (KAREC) in June 2000. Its major aims include establishing cooperative research networks among scholars in Korean studies and Korea related research, conducting research projects on important pending issues in the region, and contributing to policy formation in the related areas. In 2010, KAREC has become the Korea Research Institute (KRI)@UNSW.

Industrial Relations Research Centre (IRRC)

The IRRC encourages inter-disciplinary research in employment relations, human resource management and organisational studies and publishes research that contributes to private, public and not-for-profit sector policy formulation in the above-mentioned areas.

Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE)

The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) was established in May of 2007. Its principal ambitions are to improve the quality of innovative thinking in Australia, and to stimulate entrepreneurial skills in students, faculty members, UNSW alumni and the general entrepreneurial public.

The CIE helps innovators prepare to face the challenges of an increasingly dynamic commercial world in the form of targeted coursework, internships, and networking events that offer real world experiential learning and interaction.
