Our teaching and research focus is on actuarial studies, superannuation and pensions, and quantitative risk management.
Actuarial studies is a demanding but rewarding area of study, that provides entry into many areas of work within the financial services industry and in the highly regarded actuarial profession, and also more broadly in roles where actuarial and analytics knowledge are valued. Our graduates gain employment with leading employers in Australia and internationally.
Risk management knowledge is increasingly required by companies adopting ERM (enterprise risk management) including banks, insurers and non-financial corporations. We provide risk management education in both our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including professional recognition relating to the CERA syllabus of the International Actuarial Association.
Superannuation and pensions courses are available in undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the school, as well as in undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the Business School.
Take a look around our website to find more information on the undergraduate and postgraduate programs we offer, find out about our academics and their current research, as well as course information for our enrolled students and details about upcoming and past events at the School.
We hope you find the information that you are looking for. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
