Conversion of overseas qualifications
The School of Taxation & Business Law, UNSW Business School offers conversion courses for overseas qualified accountants that fulfil the requirements of the CAANZ and CPA Australia.
We offer some of these courses by distance so you could complete those courses before arrival in Australia.
Professional accountants who wish to have their qualifications recognised by the CAANZ or CPA Australia should apply directly to the professional body for assessment. Written assessment results will be provided prescribing further studies to meet the requirements for membership. All assessments are conducted on an individual basis. If you are applying for an Australian permanent resident visa, the assessment result may be used for this purpose also.
After receiving your assessment result, please contact us so we can advise of the corresponding course codes for enrolment purposes.
