Our rankings

UNSW is one of the best universities, consistently placing within the top 50 world rankings. We rank 43rd in the 2020 QS Global University Rankings. The Business School research subjects are currently rated “Above world standard” and “Well above world standard” by the Excellence in Research for Australia survey. Our graduate employability

UNSW has more start-up founders and millionaires than any other Australian university. The 2019 QS World University Rankings placed UNSW first in Australia and 28th worldwide for graduate employability. According to the 2017 BRW Young Rich List, UNSW educated 5 of the Top 25 rich-listers - 2 are from the Business School. The 2018 QILT survey showed that our graduates are more likely to gain full-time employment and earn a higher wage than students from most Australian universities. Our memberships

Memberships provide our academics and students access to the benefits of global information sharing with top universities. UNSW is a member of Universitas 21, an active network of internationally competitive, research-intensive universities. The University is also proud to be a member of the Group of Eight, which represents the top eight universities in Australia. The Business School is the only Australian university representative in the Global Network for Advanced Management, alongside higher education institutions like Yale in the United States, Fudan in China, and INSEAD from France.

Our accreditations

Accreditations come from strict quality audits and establish the standard of education we provide. UNSW Business School programs are EQUIS and AACSB accredited, which puts us in an elite group of the world's leading business schools. These accreditations represent the highest standard of achievement for any business school worldwide. International students should be aware that TEQSA trusts and authorises us to self-accredit our programs and courses.

Our funding

Government agencies, corporations and philanthropists show confidence in our academic reputation by providing millions of dollars in funding each year. Notably, the government awarded $27.5M to CEPAR, our research centre of excellence, in 2016.
