The International Business Experience (IBE) is for AGSM students who wish to apply skills they have developed in the core courses of the MBA. The IBE provides a holistic approach to teaching and learning, it is not only conceptual knowledge but also experiential knowledge that develops your intuition to become a global leader.
Spaces in the study tours are limited and all applicants are considered for participation on the basis of quality of application, program progression and cohort diversity. Other factors such as ambassadorial qualities and WAM may also be taken into account. The video above showcases what can be gained from an IBE China Study Tour.

Silicon Valley Study Tour
A new course in the MBAX offering that is open to all AGSM MBA students. Following a pilot offering under IBE in 2016, a specialised Silicon Valley Study Tour course is now available.
Over the past few decades Silicon Valley and its startup ecosystem have consistently produced high growth companies that have come to dominate industries worldwide from pioneering companies like HP and Fairchild and technology giants like Apple and Google through to a new generation of disruptors like Uber and AirBnB. This course, which takes place in Silicon Valley, provides you with an opportunity to get deeper insight into the world's most successful startup ecosystem and to identify the lessons that can be learnt for countries and individual companies that are seeking to enhance innovation and foster greater levels of entrepreneurship. During this course you will meet with and gain insights from entrepreneurs, investors, executives and industry experts who are living and working in the Valley and will develop practical insights and a fresh perspective that you will be able to apply to your organisation big or small.
