International exchange opportunities

Choose between an Alternative (Intensive) exchange or a traditional full-time exchange.

The program allows students in the full-time MBA, Stage 1 of the MBA (Executive), as well as MBAX and MBT students to undertake a component of their requirements with an International Exchange partner.

Alternative Exchange - International Intensives

On an ongoing basis we offer short term exchange opportunities for students looking to gain an international perspective and develop a well-rounded educational experience. Typically classes are conducted in an intensive mode over a two-week period which is ideal for students with a busy work schedule.

Read the Alternative Exchange Procedure on how to apply and session date information.

How it works

Students on exchange receive full credit for overseas study and their AGSM MBA program tuition fees cover tuition at the exchange school. Places are allocated according to a fixed, pre-negotiated quota of positions that are made available by partner schools (to be reciprocal over a 3 year period).

Selection is based on both academic and non-academic criteria (in equal weighting):

  • Academic: Grades are taken from results in the students' core/foundation courses (up to and including 1 session)
  • Non-academic: Students applications are assessed by the selection committee
