International exchange opportunities

Choose between an Alternative (Intensive) exchange or a traditional full-time exchange.

The program allows students in the full-time MBA, Stage 1 of the MBA (Executive), as well as MBAX and MBT students to undertake a component of their requirements with an International Exchange partner.

  • Traditional exchange
  • Alternative exchange

You will be joining the full-time program for a full semester at one of our partner schools with selected global partner institutions. These exchanges are for students looking to gain an international perspective and develop a well-rounded educational experience.

How it works

Students on exchange receive full credit for overseas study and their AGSM MBA program tuition fees cover tuition at the exchange school. Places are allocated according to a fixed, pre-negotiated quota of positions that are made available by partner schools (to be reciprocal over a 3 year period).

Selection is based on both academic and non-academic criteria (in equal weighting):

  • Academic: Grades are taken from results in the students' core/foundation courses (up to and including 1 session)
  • Non-academic: Students applications are assessed by the selection committee

On an ongoing basis we offer short term exchange opportunities for students looking to gain an international perspective and develop a well-rounded educational experience. Typically classes are conducted in an intensive mode over a two-week period which is ideal for students with a busy work schedule.

Alternative Exchange is offered through the MBA (Executive) program.  You may apply to take these international intensive courses and receive 6-12 UOC from AGSM in lieu of taking elective courses at AGSM.

Eligibility

It is recommended that you have completed some core courses prior to application as it is a competitive process and all applications are considered in line with the host school requirement.

Furthermore, the company visits were extremely interesting.
