Hong Kong’s flourishing arts and cultural scene has been heavily influence through decades of colonial rule and centuries of Chinese influence.

Hong Kong has a reputation as one of the world’s premier shopping destinations with various shopping districts catering to all tastes.

Hong Kong offers a dizzying array of food options with over 12,000 restaurants on offer including Dim Sum, Seafood, Chinese Barbeque, fine dining and late night noodle markets.

There are plenty of ways to travel around Hong Kong with one of the most efficient and frequent public transport systems. The Octopus Card allows travel on all transport systems via an easy payment method.

The Mass Transport Railway (MTR) is widely considered to be an inexpensive, reliable and clean way to get to the teaching venue and around the island easily as long as your hotel is located near an MTR station.

Taxis are also relatively inexpensive, you may refer to the taxi fare webpage for your reference. The colour of a taxi indicates its geographical area. Red taxis are the most common and will service most area. It is advisable to have either a note of your desired destination in Chinese or a map to show the taxi driver. If you plan to stay on the Kowloon side, the quickest way to get to the teaching venue is via MTR. If you take a taxi you will be charged double for a cross (under) harbour taxi ride.
