I am more confident as a manager and able to make more strategic decisions. My CFO has definitely noticed that and my team really appreciate the change in my leadership style too. I get to be so much more forward-thinking, working on organisation-wide initiatives that are helping to deliver the company strategy and determining the tomorrow of the business.

Emerging Manager Program, The Authentic Communicator: Activating Presence, Developing the Strategic Manager
For me, the major benefit of the program was that it provided this amazing re-introduction into education. It’s definitely something I should have done earlier in my career. Being surrounded by similar people with similar minds and ambitions was amazing. The presenters were excellent - all of them were very passionate about their field of expertise and were very thought provoking – I found myself constantly re-evaluating how I deliver my role versus how I should or could be delivering my role in the future.
For a number of years I have been considering undertaking an MBA but I was unsure whether I was suitable or if the course was even relevant. By participating in the General Managers program and completing my CEMD I realised very quickly how relevant it was and how great it was to learn again.
