Peter Farrell Cup

The Peter Farrell Cup (PFC) is named after Peter Farrell, the founder and Chairman of ResMed and 2001 Australian Entrepreneur of the Year. Now in its 17th year, the Peter Farrell Cup started in 2001 as Australia's first student-run entrepreneurship competition.

Brought to you by the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), it is our Business School’s annual student entrepreneur challenge. The competition is one of the most important entrepreneurial activities at UNSW and it is open to students from all faculties.

With the support of industry mentors and judges, this is a unique opportunity to develop the real-life entrepreneurial skills you’ll need to bring an innovation to market, with the support of industry mentors. If you win the final pitching round, you will walk away with a $15,000 cash prize – a potential kick-start for your future business.

The Competition

Over three months, teams develop their business ideas through workshops and with the support of industry mentors and judges from Sydney’s innovation and entrepreneurship community.
