Focuses on studying corporate finance topics such as cost of capital estimation, forecasting and valuation, initial public offerings, seasoned equity offerings, debt issuance and refinancing, use of lease and convertibles, stock repurchase, mergers and takeovers, financial distress and divestiture. Mini-cases and local companies of different ownership structures are used for illustration. There are emphases on applying current empirical evidence in estimation and problem solving, as well as spreadsheet modelling of all aspects of corporate finance.
