To be successful managers increasingly need to be able to communicate value to internal and external stakeholders. Drawing on the literature on bargaining, negotiations and persuasion as well as cross cultural communication and storytelling, this course is designed to help students develop the communications skills they need to be successful in the contemporary business context. Focus will be given to a range of contemporary business situations including engaging with clients, building understanding with internal stakeholders as well as developing compelling business cases.
