The Bachelor of Information Systems Admissions Scheme (BISAS) at UNSW offers an alternative pathway for domestic students into the Bachelor of Information Systems program.
Admission to the Bachelor of Information Systems Term 1 2019:
- ATAR 91.00+: Admission on basis of ATAR (or equivalent)
- ATAR 80.00-90.95: Admission on basis of BISAS
If you achieved an ATAR (or equivalent) between 80.00 and 90.95 in 2018 and satisfy the BISAS application and interview requirements, you will be considered for admission under the Bachelor of Information Systems Admission Scheme (BISAS) at UNSW.
The guaranteed entry ATAR for the Bachelor of Information Systems for T1 2019 is an ATAR (or equivalent) of 91.00. If you completed Year 12 in 2018, HSC adjustment factors will apply.
If your ATAR or equivalent is expected to be below the guaranteed entry, but above 80.00, the School of Information Systems & Technology Management @ UNSW Business School (ISTM) recognises there are a number of factors which signal your potential to succeed in the Bachelor of Information Systems. These factors include the ATAR (or equivalent), your ability in mathematics, English and information technology related subjects and proof of your problem-solving skills. Your attitude and motivation towards the study of information systems will also be taken into consideration.
If you expect to achieve an ATAR between 80.00 and 90.95, to maximise your opportunities for admission, we recommend you submit an application to the Bachelor of Information Systems Admission Scheme (BISAS).
