Please note tuition fees are likely to increase each year.
If you are an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or New Zealand citizen, you are a
domestic student. Citizens of a country other than Australia, or New Zealand permanent residents, are
international students.
Domestic students
Domestic students receive a contribution towards their study from the federal government if they have a
Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP). You can pay your student contribution up-front, or you can defer it and pay it later through the tax system via a HECS-HELP loan.
If you are taking courses during the Summer Term, you may be required to pay full tuition fees even if you have a Commonwealth Supported Place.
FEE-HELP interest free loans are available to assist you in paying tuition fees. To be eligible, you must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident with a humanitarian visa.
Youth Allowance
Domestic students may be eligible for Youth Allowance payments. Student Income Support options include:
- Youth Allowance for full-time students aged 16 to 24
- ABSTUDY for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- Austudy for full-time students aged 25 years and over
