The Australian branch of Springboard enterprises, launched by Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) alumnus Wendy Simpson (MBA Exec '99), is currently seeking investment-ready, women-led companies to participate in the second annual accelerator program exclusively for women entrepreneurs.
The business lead accelerator program, sees participants gain exposure to potential investors and partners through a variety of in-person and virtual opportunities. To qualify companies must have a woman in a senior position with a significant equity stake and demonstrate a qualified and profitable market opportunity. They must also, have a track record of milestone achievement, a credible management team or ability to attract one, and must be based in or have significant operations in Australia.
AGSM is proud to support the initiative in Australia and will be working with Wendy Simpson to share the opportunity with current female AGSM students.
"Springboard Australia aims to educate, support and promote the most promising Australian women entrepreneurs," said Wendy.
"The AGSM is home to some of the country's top female entrepreneurs who are already in leadership positions, such as AGSM graduate Emma Lo Russo (MBA Exec '13), who was recently awarded the Anita Prabhu Women Leaders in Business award."
This program is an opportunity for women like Emma to take their companies to the next level by being exposed to, and supported by, an expanded network of seasoned entrepreneurs, investors and industry experts."
Applications for Springboard: Australia 2014 are now open and will be accepted until December 3rd.
