Five Australian School of Business (ASB) academics across a range of disciplines were recommended for promotion to Associate Professor level at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Promotion Committee last week. Included are
Dr. Valentyn Panchenko of the
School of Economics;
Dr. Shayne Gary of the School of Management; Dr. Nolan Sharkey of the School of Taxation and Business Law; and Dr. Jason Zein and Dr. Ronan Powell of the School of Banking and Finance.
“Each year ASB promotes up to five academics who have demonstrated sustained excellence in research, teaching and service. These promotions are designed to recognise some of our best academics in the earlier stages of their careers and encourage them to continue to pursue research excellence and further their career development,” said Australian School of Business Dean, Professor Alec Cameron.
