Associate Professor Jerry T. Parwada has been appointed Head of the School of Banking & Finance at the Australian School of Business.

Jerry has been a member of the School of Banking & Finance since July 2003 when he joined as a lecturer. Since then he has advanced to his current position of Associate Professor, and has taken on leadership positions of increasing responsibility, including as Associate Head of School in 2010 and Acting Head of School since January this year.

Jerry is spearheading formalisation of the statement of strategic intent for the School of Banking & Finance, as well as the introduction of two new programs - the Master of Financial Economics and the Master of Financial Planning​ - both of key strategic importance to the School of Banking & Finance and ASB.

Jerry's research specialises in funds management and financial markets. He is an active consultant to industry on issues relating to managed funds and valuation and is a regular speaker at local and international finance conferences.
