September marks a busy time for the AGSM Career Servies team with over 30 highly regarded companies visiting campus looking to recruit the very best MBA, MBA Executive and MBT talent.

AGSM Director Careers Services, Robyn Gleeson said Management Consulting firms have traditionally been the most represented group at Careers Month however a feature of this year's group is the representation of a broad spectrum of industries.

Joining the top tier consulting firms such as BCG, McKinsey, Booz& Co and Bain this year are representatives from GE, Unilever, Google, Foxtel and Infosys.

AGSM Careers Services Coordinator Rachel Guest, who has been responsible for planning the event, said one of the most interesting things about Careers Month is seeing students change their perceptions about certain jobs and industries after speaking to the company representatives.

"I have had many conversations with students already this month where they have been surprised by the opportunities that are open to them. This forum allows students to have frank conversations with companies about what kinds of people they are looking for which allows them to hone their interview and presentation skills.

The diverse range of companies presenting during Careers Month have come largely as a result of the strong relationships AGSM has with its alumni community and the high calibre of students undertaking their MBA with AGSM this year.

Companies including Portland Group, PwC, SMS Management Technology, ASIS and Reckitt Benckiser, have proved incredibly popular this year with more than 120 registrations leading to record attendance at each of the sessions.
