About Chuan

Chuan commenced as a Lecturer at the School of Accounting in July 2016. For her PhD, Chuan investigates the lobbying, determinants and incremental usefulness of the direct method operating cash flow disclosures in a voluntary setting (U.S.).

Chuan’s primary research interests include financial accounting; financial statement analysis; voluntary disclosures; the role of accounting information in corporate valuation and capital markets.

Chuan is currently teaching financial accounting courses at the undergraduate level.
