Kathrin is a lecturer in taxation in the School of Taxation and Business Law at UNSW. She lectures both Australian and international taxation subjects in the Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Taxation programs. In 2018 she was one of the recipients of the UNSW Business School’s John Prescott Award for Outstanding Teaching Innovation. Her research interests include international taxation, transfer pricing, double taxation agreements, and design issues related to goods and services tax. She is currently undertaking a PhD in taxation - studying cross-border taxation in ASEAN at the University of Western Australia. Prior to academia, Kathrin was a senior tax consultant at KPMG.
