Prem Ramburuth is Professor in International Business. She researches and teaches in the areas of cross cultural management, comparative values and internationalisation of the higher education sector. Her more recent research focuses on the drivers of economic development in emerging economies (including the BRIC cluster); gender equity and workplace inclusion; and the impact of education, training and capacity building in low to middle income countries. These areas intersect with her role as Academic Lead for Africa at the UNSW Institute for Global Development. She is the Immediate Past President of the UNSW Academic Board, is on the TEQSA Panel of Experts, and continues to be actively engaged in Academic Governance in Higher Education institutions.
