About Suzanne

​Dr. Suzanne Chan-Serafin is a Senior Lecturer and Undergraduate Coordinator at the School of Management in the Australian School of Business, University of New South Wales. 

She received her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Tulane University and her B.A. in Economics and Psychology from Smith College. Before entering academia, Suzanne worked as an auditor and accountant for several years, specializing in manufacturing and IT industries and passed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) examinations. 

She has taught organizational behavior, ethics and communication, career management, and teams foundations at the undergraduate, Master of Commerce and/or MBA levels. Suzanne's research on moral and diversity issues in the workplace, worker safety training, and conflict resolution (specifically mediation) has been published, amongst others, in the American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Relations and Organization Science. Her research also has appeared in media outlets such as Australian Financial Review, CNN, and National Public Radio.
