Toomas Tamm is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems and Technology Management at the UNSW Business School. Prior to entering academia, he worked in the retail and services sector as a sales consultant, web editor, and project manager.
Toomas’s research and teaching interests revolve around how organisations can make better decisions enabled by digital technologies. His research focuses on two interrelated areas: (1) strategic technology investment decisions (particularly the decision processes and approaches for improving these processes and outcomes) and (2) digitisation of organisational decision-making (particularly how to combine human judgment with decision support and automation technologies to improve decision outcomes). His key teaching areas include digital strategy and IT management, IT consulting, digitally-enabled innovation, and enterprise applications.
