Tracy’s research and practice interest is in socially responsible management practice. Understanding and enabling this involves bringing together ethics, management education and organization theory to better understand how managers create opportunities for ethical agency.. She has published in the area of ethics and sustainability education, moral agency, and ethical human resource management.​

About Tracy

Tracy Wilcox is the Academic Director for Postgraduate Programs in the Business School and a senior lecturer in business ethics, sustainability and management. Tracy also has an adjunct position with the Centre for Social Impact where she teaches in their postgraduate Social Impact programs. She is the Program Director for the Master of Commerce and Master of Commerce (Extension) degrees.

Tracy is passionate about business ethics and sustainability education and she has received several teaching awards for her work in this field including the Bill Birkett Award for Sustained Teaching Excellence.

Tracy’s research explores how business contexts enable or constrain ethical management action. She has supervised students researching in Corporate Social Responsibility, NGO management, and organizational change. Tracy serves on the Editorial Board of the Economic and Labour Relations Review

Tracy has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Master of Commerce (Hons) and PhD from UNSW Business School. Tracy joined academia following a career in quality management and scientific leadership roles with global organisations.
