Victoria Clout is a Senior Lecturer in the UNSW Australia Business School. Before joining UNSW, Victoria was an Assistant Professor at the UWA Business School (2009-2011), and a prior to that a lecturer at Curtin Business School (2008) and University of Queensland (2006-2007). Victoria undertook her PhD at Queensland University of Technology and was nominated for a QUT Outstanding Thesis Award.
Victoria's research interests include corporate governance, value relevance, valuation and capital markets. She has published papers in journals including Accounting & Finance, Journal of Contemporary Accounting & Economics and the Australian Journal of Management. Victoria has research leadership roles including Deputy Director – Engagement of the Financial Research Network (FIRN) and is an Associate Editor of the Australian Journal of Management and Accounting & Finance.
Victoria's current teaching interest is in financial accounting. She has also experience in teaching corporate accounting, financial accounting theory and financial statement analysis courses.
