Dr Weiting Zheng is Senior Lecturer in the School of Management at UNSW Business School, Australia. Her research interests lie at the intersection of strategic management and business-government interface. Weiting is interested in understanding how business-government relationships influence firms' behaviour and performance, particularly in the context of emerging economies. Her current research projects focus on topics related to (1) the heterogeneity of political embeddedness and its impact on organizations, (2) the dynamics between market and non-market strategy in the domestic and global context, and (3) managing diverse stakeholder relationships. Her research has been published in the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Research Policy.
Weiting is Associate Editor at the Australian Journal of Management, and serves on the editorial board of Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Research, and Management and Organization Review. Weiting's teaching interests encompass strategic management and international business. Before joining UNSW, she taught at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Victoria University of Wellington.
