UNSW Business School is a global leader for research in business and economics. We have a number of core areas of research strength and we have research partnerships that place students in important academic, government, and industry positions.

More than 350 academic staff in the UNSW Business School conduct world-class research that is both rigorous and relevant. Our researchers are regularly awarded competitive grants for research excellence and are closely engaged with a number of industry partners and government. In addition, there are currently more than 150 Australian and international students from all over the world studying with us in our research programs.

Our higher degree research programs inspire students to think profoundly and develop independent high-quality research. Our world standard research expertise shapes economic policy and influences the way business is done around the world. We have a number of research institutes that solve real-world problems and set the standard in excellence in research for Australia.
