Why choose us?

When you study at UNSW Australia Business School, you’ll gain the skills, network, knowledge and confidence you need to succeed – no matter which business career path you choose to take.

Eight good reasons to choose our Business School

Here are eight good reasons to choose us for your business degree:

1. Beautiful city, beautiful campus

Study in Sydney and you’re in Australia’s financial capital and the gateway to its fast growing Asian markets.

That means a wide range of exciting and challenging research, internship and graduate opportunities, and it’s not all about work. Sydney offers an enviable lifestyle, with beautiful harbour, beaches and bushlands to explore. Being close to some of the iconic beaches around the world like Coogee and Bondi Beaches also ensure that our students can enjoy the best of Sydney’s year-round temperature climate.

Our UNSW campus is like a self-contained village with modern buildings and classrooms fitted with the latest technology. We also have a diverse range of new accommodation facilities and retail services, including banks, a post office, restaurants, bars, cafes and convenience stores, and make the most of our indoor pool, gym and fitness classes when you join the UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre.

We’ve also transformed the ground level of our Business School building into “flipped classrooms” which is based on the use of modern technology to make learning highly flexible, and encourages movement and discussion within the classroom.

Students connect their own devices via Wi-Fi, and are encouraged to write all over the whiteboard walls or pin ideas up during a brainstorm. This new style of learning encourages teacher and student discussions and helps improve students’ soft skills, such as collaboration, presentation and problem solving as a group.

We provide outstanding business education for both Australian and international students, and our world-class research and education programs attract internationally renowned academics.

All in all, you can be assured that your business degree is recognised globally and your opportunities are limitless.
